Itinerary Summary
DAY 1 Arrive Shannon airport. Pick-up rental car and drive north to the vibrant city of Galway. Check into The Galmont Hotel.
DAY 2 Private food tour of Galway incl. the famous Galway Market.
DAY 3 Drive to Rossaveal Harbor, board ferry to the rugged Inis Mor Island (40 mins). Private half-day horse drawn carriage island tour with a local islander incl. Dun Aengus Fort. Retrace route back to Galway in the afternoon.
DAY 4 Drive to Co. Mayo. boasting many attractions including stunning mountain scenery, megalithic tombs, and exciting hiking trails. Check into the Mount Falcon Estate. That evening, enjoy a private star gazing tour (the hotel is in an International Dark Sky Reserve) with a traditional Seanchaí (storyteller) for local tales with hot chocolate under the stars
DAY 5 Private e-bike tour along the Bangor Trail Greenway. You will explore glacial riverbeds, waterfalls, Bronze Age forts, ancient abbeys, and castles along the way.
